NHS Fife can confirm that an individual linked to Aberdour Primary School has tested positive for COVID-19.  

The positive case has mild symptoms and remains isolating at home with other household members. There is no evidence of onward transmission within the school at this stage and the risk to pupils and staff appears to be low.  

As a precaution all pupils from the P7 , Room 7 class must remain off school and isolate up to and including Thursday 8 October, returning to school Friday 9 October.

Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at:
