NHS Fife and Fife Council are posting regular updates on schools and nurseries linked to a positive case of COVID-19. There may still be situations where individual updates are required.

Update for 06 October 2020:- 

Beath High School - Cowdenbeath

  • A further individual linked to the school has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total cases associated to Beath High School to four.
  • Additional contacts have been identified and are being asked to self-isolate.  

Canongate Primary School - St Andrews

  • A single positive case is linked to the school.
  • Children in P6/7 composite class are considered to be potential contacts and must isolate as a precaution.
  • The remainder of the school is unaffected and all other children should attend as normal.

Carnegie Primary School - Dunfermline

  • Seven positive cases now linked to the school
  • Two more classes are being asked to isolate P1c and P3B, along with additional staff. All other potential contacts are already isolating.
  • The school building will now close until the start of the new term on Monday 26 October 2020

Donibristle Primary School - Dalgety Bay

  • A single positive case is linked to the school.
  • All children in P7 are considered to be potential contacts and must isolate as a precaution.
  • The remainder of the school is unaffected and all other children should attend as normal.

Nursery at Foulford Primary School - Cowdenbeath

  • A single positive case is linked to the nursery.
  • Children in the Bumblebee Rooms 1 and 2 are considered to be potential contacts and must isolate as a precaution. All other children should attend as normal.
  • The school is unaffected and all pupils should attend as normal.

Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at: https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 0800 028 2816.
