NHS Fife and Fife Council are now posting regular updates on individual schools and nurseries linked to a positive case of COVID-19. There may still be situations where individual updates are required.

Carnegie Primary School, Dunfermline 

  • An additional confirmed case linked to the school. A total of four cases now associated with the school.    
  • Small number of additional contacts identified and being asked to isolate as a precaution.
  • No additional classes required to self-isolate. 

Collydean Primary School, Glenrothes 

  • One confirmed case linked to the school.  
  • No close contacts have been identified within the school and all children are asked to attend as normal. 

Beath High School, Cowdenbeath 

  • One confirmed case linked to the school. 
  • Close contacts have been identified in S3 and instructed to self-isolate up to and including 13 October 2020 before resuming normal activities from 14 October 2020.

Little Beehive Nursery, Kirkcaldy

  • One confirmed case linked to the nursery.
  • Close contacts have been identified and instructed to isolate up to and including 16 October 2020 before resuming normal activities from 17 October 2020.

 

Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at: https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 0800 028 2816.
