Ahead of the planned start of building works to construct the Fife Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, a large section of Car Park H (opposite Accident and Emergency) will close on Friday 26 February 2021 to allow site preparation to begin.

Work has been ongoing in recent weeks to add additional parking spaces elsewhere on the hospital grounds to replace any spaces lost. Over and above these replacement spaces, additional car parking will soon also be available with the expansion of Car Park L, which will increase parking capacity at the Victoria Hospital by around 140 extra spaces.

The construction work on the new build is planned to begin in March 2021 and should take around 18 months to complete.
