Our new ‘Community Conversation Survey’ is now live, and we are encouraging Fife’s residents to join the conversation and give us their feedback on local health services, both now and into the future. The survey is available at: www.nhsfife.org/conversation.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the most significant health challenge in the history of the NHS and the time is right for us to think differently, to make change, for the better.

As we develop our plans for the future, we want to start a conversation with individuals, community groups, partners, and stakeholders across the Kingdom. We want to gauge the opinions of local people on how we can support their future health and wellbeing, learning lessons from the pandemic and recognising that Covid-19 has impacted certain groups more severely than others.

The confidential survey is open to anyone aged 16 or over who currently lives in Fife and takes around 10-12 minutes to complete, with responses completely anonymised. The results of the survey will be used to create a foundation to inform further targeted conversations next year to support the ongoing

development of our NHS Fife Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the actions we need to take in response to the feedback we receive.

Paper copies or translated versions of the survey are available by emailing: Fife.EqualityandHumanRights@nhs.scot; or by calling: 01592 729130.

Paper copies with return envelopes will also be available to collect from our main hospital receptions and vaccination venues, as well copies with reply-paid envelopes in public libraries across Fife.

The online survey will remain open until midnight Sunday 19th December 2021, with the deadline of returning paper copies extended to Wednesday 22nd December 2021.

A separate survey for the Kingdom’s healthcare workers is currently running in parallel to the public survey to capture the thoughts of NHS Fife’s 8,500 staff.

We’re asking local people to please take this opportunity and join the conversation by sharing your thoughts with us, and helping us gather a meaningful picture of Fifers health and wellbeing aspirations, both now and into the future.
