Back in October 2025, we shared the story of Elana Murray, a recent university graduate, just beginning her career in mental health nursing. Elana had experienced a rare neurological disorder which we now know was Guillain-Barré Syndrome and which had left her temporarily paralysed.
As a way to express her deep gratitude to the team that helped her reclaim her life, Elana agreed to take on a bold challenge – to sky dive to raise funds for Fife Health Charity. The parachute jump however, set for October last year couldn’t take place due to bad weather on the day.
However, Elana rescheduled the jump and we are delighted to report that it took place earlier this month.
