
Course Description
This programme is for all Healthcare Practitioners and aims to increase knowledge and awareness of the emotive and sensitive issues surrounding bereavement care and support. The programme will explore theories and models of grief, discuss issues surrounding talking about death and dying including current topical issues, policies and procedures pertaining to loss and bereavement.
This session will cover:
Current cultural effects that death and dying have on society.
Current topical issues pertaining to loss and bereavement.
NHS Fife Policy on care of the deceased and the bereaved.
