Best Practice in Dementia Care

Course Description

This programme is for all Healthcare Practitioners and aims to exhibit a greater understanding of dementia and its impact on the individual by engaging in a reflective evaluation of caring interventions and change practice accordingly by implementing a person-centred approach to care.  This course has been developed by the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) University of Stirling.

This programme is delivered over 4 months one per month equating to 4 sessions and culminates in the submission of 2 reflective accounts to gain accreditation from DSDC, University of Stirling.
