Course Description

This programme is for Registered Healthcare Practitioners band 5 and above and covers current practice in Ear Care examination and irrigation which is also suitable for competent Registered Healthcare Practitioners to maintain/update competency for their own continuing professional development.

This clinical skills programme will support Registered Healthcare Practitioners in their studying, enabling them to work at their own pace while learning about ear care in the context of their own practice.

Support for the practice-based elements of the programme must be agreed with delegate’s line manager; an assessor must be identified prior to booking.

Registered Healthcare Practitioners must show evidence of prerequisite completion, to their assessor before attending the virtual/online training session. Supervised practice must only occur following attendance at a virtual/online training session.
