Course Description
Leadership Awareness Training is a 3 days delivery and return day with a service improvement project in 3 months. In developing this programme the team has been mindful of the point raised in Partnership for Care that “leadership is not the preserve of a small group of people in senior positions but needs to be nurtured at all levels of the NHS” (Scottish Executive, 2003). It is for this reason that this innovation is available to any Healthcare Practitioner who is interested in developing their leadership potential.
The aim of the programme is to raise participants’ awareness of the contribution of effective clinical leadership to high quality patient care and to provide participants with some practical tools to use in their day to day work to improve their personal effectiveness.
Please ensure that you are able to attend the whole cohort of programmed days including the scheduled project return date.
