Course Description

The symptom management in palliative care Short Sharp Sessions will be delivered over 2 sessions.  Each week explores different symptoms and their management in relation to palliative and end of life care.

This session will cover:

Symptom management within palliative and end of life care utilising the Scottish Palliative Care Guidelines.

Topics covered:

Pain

Nausea & Vomiting management

Breathlessness

Agitation management

Palliative care emergencies
