Inpatient Physiotherapy Victoria Hospital

The aims of Physiotherapy are to improve mobility and strength, to relieve pain and to restore physical function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability, through movement, exercise, activity management, education and advice.

Your hospital journey Respiratory physiotherapy

Our services enable people to resume their regular activities of daily living including work, school, recreational activities and personal care  and can help people remain independent for as long as possible.

In-patient services cover all acute wards at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. We receive referrals through the admitting ward. Our priority is the quality of your health, wellbeing and lifestyle. We work in a person-centred way to help you to recover and ensure your wellbeing throughout your hospital stay. This means that we work closely with you and your family in order to achieve your goals, plan for the future and support your discharge from hospital.
