Telling us how you want to move forward with appointments
Patients who are on the waiting list for an appointment will receive a text or email notification inviting you to log in to the online portal to confirm whether you still want to remain on the waiting list for a service or speciality.
The following specialities will soon be using using Patient Hub for referrals:
- Gynaecology Outpatients
- ENT Outpatients
- Urology Outpatients
- General Surgery Inpatients
- Gynaecology Inpatients
- Orthopaedic Inpatients
- Urology Inpatients
In Patient Hub you will receive the following options to confirm that you:
- Would like to remain on the waiting list for your appointment/procedure and your condition has not changed.
- Would like to remain on the waiting list for your appointment/procedure and your symptoms have worsened.
- No longer need your appointment/operation and wish to be removed from the waiting list.
All patients with a registered mobile number and/or email address with automatically be sent communications to access this service when required. Please make sure we have your up-to-date contact details and if you would like to opt out you can do this through Patient Hub or by contacting your speciality.
If you do not interact with the text or email, a letter will be sent by post.
