Our secure online portal Patient Hub allows you to confirm or rebook your hospital appointments, depending on the speciality, from your smart phone, tablet or computer.
You can also view your appointment letters as well as any supporting documents and patient information you’d usually receive in the post.
All patients with a registered mobile number and/or email address with automatically be sent communications to access this service when required.
Please make sure we have your up-to-date contact details and if you would like to opt out you can do this through Patient Hub or by contacting your speciality.

Depending on the service, you may also be asked to complete a patient survey or questionnaire through Patient Hub.
This reduces the number of physical or telephone appointments required and allows you to complete the survey in the comfort of your own home.
Please note, if you view your appointment information within Patient Hub, you will not receive a letter in the post. If you do not interact with the text or email, a letter will still be sent.

What happens if I don’t respond to the text or email sent?
If you do not respond to the text or email informing you that you have something to view in Patient Hub, a letter will be sent in the post to ensure you do not miss your appointment.
How do I know that the text or email I have received is genuine?
Please note, we will only contact via text from ‘NHS Scotland’ and via email from XXXX. Any other communication relating to Patient Hub is not from us, and you should not interact. If you have any concerns, please get in touch.
What happens if I have recorded a response in Patient Hub in error?
If you have responded to your appointment or referral notification and you believe you have made a mistake in your response, please contact the speciality directly relating to this.
