Fife Mental Health Improvement encourages positive mental health for all whether or not a person has a mental health illness or not. Through prevention and early intervention work the Health Promotion Service aims to raising awareness and promoting positive wellbeing; tackle stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health; prevent suicide and promote and support the recovery of people who have had mental ill-health.

Providing promotional information, resources to support events and presentations to local groups.


Campaigns

Supporting local and national campaigns which promote positive mental wellbeing, including; Mental Health Week and Suicide Prevention Week.


Projects

Advice, support and assistance to groups or organisations developing new or existing projects aimed at increasing wellbeing.


Evidence

Our work is underpinned by a professional local and national evidence base to ensure work is tailored to the local community and supports the public health priorities.
