The rehabilitation team consists of professionals that guide patients and their families through the rehabilitation programme, which is tailored to meet their individual needs. Programmes may be provided on an individual basis or in a group setting.
There is a 12 bedded in-patient facility at Cameron Hospital and a Fife wide outpatient/community service. The team consists of consultant in rehabilitation medicine, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nutrition & dietetics, speech and language therapy, clinical neuropsychologists and specialist nurses in rehabilitation, acquired brain injury and multiple sclerosis.
As well as rehabilitation programmes, the service offers support for self management of long term neurological conditions and a transition service for people moving from paediatric to adult rehabilitation services.
